On March 6, 1680, Hryhir Tiutiunnyk hanged himself. In the writer’s death note, it was written: “Torture someone else, and burn what I have.”
LOST UKRAINE project is a reflection on the fact that over the centuries, thousands of Ukrainian men and women died while defending our Motherland and its culture.
Traces of cruelty on the T-shirts are left to emphasize the regime's ruthlessness towards every person. Everyone is used to learning about the end of the life of one or another fighter against the invaders through records such as "shot on the Sandarmoh tract", "died during hunger strike in the cell". But here the goal is to leave in everyone's memory the moment of the artist's death.
