“TAMGA” [Scotch Tape Series] – black hoodie

Scotch tape has become a symbol of the two worlds that Ukrainians have been balancing between since the beginning of the war. In one world, people use tape to seal their windows to prevent them from being blown out by the shockwaves of shelling. In the other world, artists continue to create their artworks implementing tape in them.

“TAMGA”: a symbol of Crimean pride and steadfastness, which the Crimean indigenous peoples have carried in their hearts for centuries.

“BIZ QIRIM” is written on the back, which translates from Crimean Tatar as “WE ARE CRIMEA”, emphasizing the unity of our nations in the struggle for the peninsula.
